Greetings Heroes of Arkesia,
Following last week’s active efforts against bots, a ban wave was rolled out that mistakenly affected some Lost Ark players and their Steam accounts, including a number of players that had not recently logged in to the game. We know this issue was frustrating and potentially distressing, and the team has worked through the weekend to remove these game bans and ensure that any marks are being removed from the Steam accounts of impacted users. After investigating and determining the cause of the error, we have also implemented a new pipeline of additional checks to ensure a situation like this does not occur again when it comes to future ban waves.
To show players that we appreciate their patience with this issue and the challenging impacts of bots, we will be granting all players the following compensation for the inconvenience:
Please also remember that your Aura of Resonance Recovery Elixir must be used within 14 days of when it is claimed.
If you are still seeing a Steam Ban appear on your account, please know that these are in the process of being removed. This mark should disappear in the coming days, but if you would like to have this handled with more urgency you are welcome to reach out to our Customer Support team directly.
